Friday 12th 10.30 onwards - Sunday 14th June 2020
Our camp this year is from Friday 12th to Sun 14th June and will be held at Pontispool. You must have rejoined the club to place a booking.
There will be a slightly different timetable for the camp this year due to a change in the way Pontispool do their pricing. We will now have 3 full days at Pontispool but to keep costs down we will stay having 4 lessons over the weekend & the club are subsidising the camp fee.
Bookings are now being taken.
Our Instructors for 2020 will be Alaina Webster, Becky Stokes, Natalie Passmore & Anna Gallie.
The cost of camp will be £200. This includes lessons, food, and accommodation in the cabins, stabling, bedding (Straw only) & hay.
A deposit of £100.00 must be paid with the booking form. This deposit is refundable in full if you cancel before 14th May 2020. After this date the deposit is only returnable if your place can be filled.
We will not be using The Long Barn this year. There is one B&B room available. It has a double bed and costs £45 per person per night if two sharing or £60 per person per night if a single. The B&B room does not have towels provided. First come first served basis please contact Kim.
Arrival from 10.30am on Friday, the first lesson will be on Friday afternoon/early evening. A lunch will not provided on Friday so please bring a packed lunch. There will probably be a demo before dinner. On Saturday there will be 2 lessons and 1 on Sunday morning. On Sunday afternoon there will be an opportunity to jump round a course of Showjumps and/or do a Dressage test.
In the event of oversubscription there will be a waiting list for the Camp. This will be on a first come first served basis with priority given to those who have attended 3 club events. Cheques will only be cashed in the event of a place becoming available for camp and you will be contacted before the cheque is cashed to confirm that you still want the place.
Payment for camp must be made in full by 14th May 2020. If payment is not received by then your place is forfeit and your deposit will not be returned. You are welcome to pay in installments. Please speak to Kim to arrange this or attach postdated cheques with booking form. Payments must be made by cheque. If you wish to pay with cash you must arrange this in advance with Kim and get a receipt for each payment. Payments may be made direct into the club account – please contact Kim for details.
We would recommend that members take out insurance to safeguard against cancellation.

Shavings - If you need/want to use shavings they must be bought from home and removed at end of weekend.

Mucking out equipment (there are some wheel barrows there for use but if poss bring your own)
Bring a torch
Don’t forget - WATER BUCKETS AND HAYNETS
And, Of Course, your horse and all tack!!!!!
