Stockland Lovel Camp 2020

 

Our camp this year is from Friday 7th to Sun 9th August and will be held at Stockland Lovell.  You must have joined the club to place a booking.

 

This camp will be very dependent on Government guidelines regarding Covid 19.  At present we are aiming for it to be a full camp but maintaining social distancing, therefore, for instance, meals may be staggered.  We are aiming for 2 people per cabin but if you prefer to stay on your own in your lorry or camper or in a tent then there will not be an additional charge (there usually is at SL).  If we are unable to all stay over-night then we will go ahead with horses staying and members coming in each day.  There will be some people staying to look after the horses if that is the case.

Cost

 

The cost of camp will be £230.00.  This includes lessons, food, and accommodation in the cabins, stabling, bedding (Shavings) & hay/haylage.

 

Our Instructors this year will be Alaina Webster, Becky Stokes & Natalie Passmore

 

A deposit of £100.00 must be paid with the booking form.  If you cancel the deposit is only returnable if your place can be filled.

 

Payment

 

Payment for camp must be made in full by 31st July 2020.  If payment is not received by then your place is forfeit and your deposit will not be returned.  You are welcome to pay in installments.  Please speak to Kim to arrange this or attach postdated cheques with booking form.  You can pay by cheque or bacs (if bacs you can email booking form to me). If you wish to pay by cash you must arrange this in advance with Kim and get a receipt for each payment. 

 

Timetable

 

Arrival from 2pm on Friday afternoon for first lesson, on Saturday there will be 2 lessons and 1 on Sunday morning.

 

Over Subscription

 

In the event of oversubscription there will be a waiting list for the Camp.  This will be on a first come first served basis with priority given to those who have attended 3 club events since the last camp.  Cheques will only be cashed in the event of a place becoming available for camp and you will be contacted before the cheque is cashed to confirm that you still want the place.

We would recommend that members take out insurance to safeguard against cancellation.
