Show Jumping

We run a number of regular show jumping competitions throughout the year at Stockland Lovell Equestrian Centre.

Our showjumping competitions are low key and friendly events, perfect for young horses and/or nervous riders.

Classes are open to members & non-members.

Classes –

  • Class 1 – 50cm
  • Class 2 – 60cm
  • Class 3 – 70cm 
  • Class 4 – 80cm
  • Class 5 – 90cm

Competitor Dress – show dress not required but shoulders MUST be covered & NO PHONES IN FRONT OF THIGH JODPHUR POCKETS
Warm up Etiquette applies – ride Left to Left at all times, walk on inside track & be mindful of other competitors
Any riding/horse that constitutes welfare concerns by the judge or stewards will be asked to leave the arena.

**PLEASE NOTE **  

Due to the current situation with Equine Influenza we are checking  ALL passports for in-date vaccinations at ALL of our events. Please make sure you have you & present to Secretary BEFORE unloading your horse. Without this you will NOT be allowed to compete 🙂 Horses must NOT have had any vaccinations within 7 days before a competition.

MEMBERs SHOWJUMPING CHAMPIONSHIP LEAGUE 

We run an annual members only showjumping league for the monthly SJ comps – you can accrue points as follows (please note only 2 classes per combination of horse & rider per event to count) – A Horse & rider combination can score the following points in any class :
1st place – 12 points
2nd – 10 points
3rd – 8 points
4th – 6 points
5th – 4 points
6th – 2 points
A Clear round – 2 extra points
Eg. Max you can score for 1 event is 2 x 1sts & 2 x clear round = 28 points
There will be a yearly members league per class that we run (ie. 50, 60, 70, 80 & 90cm) with the top 6 scorers at the end of the year in each Class gaining the frillies.
Up to date League positions will be uploaded to the Results page of the website after each competition so keep an eye on the page to know where you stand!
