Camps

We run a couple of member only residential camps a year at Stockland Lovell Equestrian Centre, where horse & rider can enjoy 2/3 days of concentrated lessons. Lessons vary; we always offer flatwork, polework, show jumping & cross country but can also offer a variety of other disciplines such as dressage to music & trec depending on uptake.

Any queries about camps please contact Sarah Horne (see contact page)

PLEASE NOTE – all deposits (1st Payment) are NON-REFUNDABLE. We know what its like with horses, things go wrong …. we do endeavour to refund as much of the cost as possible if you have to cancel, but this discretionary & only possible if your space can be filled/the club is not at a loss with your withdrawal

CAMP DATES 2026 –

SPRING -15TH -17TH MAY  – THIS IS CURRENTLY FULL – if you are interested in coming please add yourself to the  Waitlist on Equo – this is the only waitlist we use.

AUTUMN – 18TH-20th SEPT

The basic Camp timetable is:
Friday 1 x pm lesson
Saturday 1 x am lesson and 1 x pm lesson
Sunday 1 x am lesson

We try and be as flexible as possible with the lessons. You can choose 4 from flatwork, polework, showjumping and XC. You can pretty much choose any combination of lessons… a mixture or all flat….its up to you although we don’t allow 4 x cross country lessons!

XC lessons are usually 1.5 hrs long for 4 people. Other lessons in the arena are usually 1 hr for 3 people, but we are flexible and adapt things to make the timetable work.

All horses are stabled. They can be hand grazed at anytime. Horses stabling, bedding, hay or hayage is included in cost. Bring your own hard feed etc.

Riders accommodation and food is included in cost. Dinner on Friday evening, breakfast, lunch & dinner on Saturday and Sunday breakfast & lunch.

To reduce costs, camp will be self catered. We are incredibly lucky to have Sue Morgan on the committee who already does the catering at Stockland Lovell.

Accommodation is in Stockland Lovell’s cabins and it is very pleasant. We bring our own bedding.

The aim of our camps is to be low key, fun and friendly. We all muck in together for an enjoyable weekend of horses and fun with like minded people.

Camp finishes after lunch on Sunday.

Cost includes lessons, your accommodation & food, your horses stable and hay/haylage.
