Membership

From Jan 1st 2026 you can join PABRC as a ridden member via the gold button link below or on our homepage.

Ridden membership is provided via Sport80 – you will need to create a Sport80 account if you haven’t already been a member of a BRC affiliated club (very straight forward, just follow the links). From there you can then choose Poldens & Bridgwater from the dropdown menu of riding clubs to join.

Membership now runs for a ‘rolling year’ (not from Jan to Jan as previously) – you will be asked to rejoin a year from when you first join us (when setting up membership you will be asked to choose if you want a One off, 1 Year Membership or if you an Auto renewal membership so pick appropriately).

Ridden Membership cost for 2026 is £30 for a full calendar year – you cannot ride at our members only events (eg. Lessons, camps) without this.

Non-Ridden Club Supporters membership for 2026 is £15. This is for those who don’t want to ride at our events but would like to still be involved in the club & social activities. This membership can be found under our events at https://www.equoevents.co.uk/ViewEvent/ViewEventDetails/54701

PLEASE NOTE YOU MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OVER TO JOIN PABRC – we do not hold a junior membership unfortunately

SAFETY INFORMATION

Anyone attending any PABRC event MUST wear safety clothing up to current safety regulations –

Hats must meet one of the following safety standards:

Phones must NOT to be worn in front of jodphur thigh pockets for ridden events

ADVERSE WEATHER POLICY

PABRC events are always at the mercy of the Great British weather. As a general rule –

Yellow Warning – the event will generally go ahead if the conditions at the venue are safe to run, but this at our discretion.

Amber Warning – the event will be reviewed in accordance with BRC & create an adverse weather plan to ensure the safe running of the event. Following a review of risk assessment & provided the event is deemed safe to run, the event may continue as planned BUT it will likely be cancelled at our discretion.

Red Warning – the event will be cancelled.

The decision to run an event is based solely on the conditions at the event venue, not where competitors reside or travel through

In the event of adverse weather conditions, it is the competitor’s responsibility to seek confirmation as to whether the event is running or not (this information will be released with as much notice as possible via the Facebook members page).
