BRC Area 12

PABRC is part of Area 12 which is one of the largest areas in the UK network of British Riding Clubs. It covers Devon in south, up to North Somerset & to Wincanton to the east. There are 20 affiliated clubs within it & over 1500 BRC members. As part of Area 12 & BRC our members get access to the following –

COMPETITIONS – PABRC members are able to represent us at Area 12 & National BRC events throughout the year as team members & individuals. These competitions cover many disciplines including:

• Dressage – from Intro to Advanced Medium levels
• Showjumping – from 60cm-1.05m
• Horse trials (eventing) – from 70cm to 1m
• Dressage to Music – from Prelim to Elementary level
• Quadrille – 4 horses, fabulous fancy dress & a musical drill ride!
• Arena Eventing – jumping obstacles from 70cm to 1m
• Combined Championships – Combined Training (dressage & SJ from Prelim & 60cm to Novice & 90cm) & Combined Challenge (SJ & XC)
• Club Jumping Series – an accessible & inclusive series for members not taking part in qualifiers. From 40-60cm max height

TRAINING – Area 12 & BRC offer extra forms of training locally that PABRC members are able to take part in. More information on these will be available on this page throughout the year.
